Sgts Jim Prescott and John Dawson( both 6 troop)and Joe Rogers (5 troop), all took part in Operation Chariot, St Nazaire. Sgt Joe Rogers was later awarded the MM at Spilje Bay, Albania. Sgt Edward 'Tiny' Burke (5 troop)was later awarded the BEM.

Sgt. Nelson Smallbone, was later killed in action.
