Ong (kia Normandy see No.4 Cdo In Remembrance album for more photos); 16. Fus. E. Slack; 17. n/k; 18. L/Cpl. Humphries; 19.Sgt. Woodward; 20. Gdm. Clunes (spelt as Clewes in nominal roll); 21. Sgt. John 'Jack' Evans (Section Sgt. awarded Croix de Guerre after Normandy/Walcheren campaign); 22. L/Cpl. Hampton; 23. L/Cpl. Garthwaite (kia Dieppe).<br />

** 'Spike Pike was promoted Sergeant in No.4 Commando. He was later a Sergeant Instructor at the CBTC. He was sent to OCTU and commissioned.  He served in the Glosters and the RAOC from 10 Dec 1944 - 27 Nov 1975.  He fought at the Battle of Imjin where he was captured as a POW. He was awarded the MBE. He died on Tuesday 20th May aged 87<br />

'C' Troop are sitting on the edge of the 1860s sidearms store on the terreplein. No.4 Commando were stationed at the fort for the five nights of the raid.]]></description>
