<title><![CDATA[Captain Philip Hugh Pinckney]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[Philip Hugh Pinckney, born 7th April 1915, was in the Berkshire Imperial Yeomanry between 1939 and 1940. He volunteered for Special Service and was a Lieutenant in No 12 Commando between 1940 and Mar 1943. He was promoted to  Captain and joined the SAS after 12 Commando disbanded. He was killed whilst with 2 SAS after parachuting with 6 others into Bologna, Italy.<br />
