Ken died on the 19th Dec.2009 having been cared for by Kate and Marc Bridger for many years.

No.4 Commando was the last Army Commando to be disbanded. Many Commandos from other units were moved into No.4 Cdo whilst awaiting their demob. They were involved in post war duties in Germany for a period of time. Ken did mention that when he moved into No.4 Cdo from No.9 Cdo. they were allowed to keep and wear all their original units insignia ( see his personal album and forum topic in his name for more details). This newsletter reflects on that transition period from Commando to, in most but certainly not all cases, Civvie.
