Pete Morland, on the left, was later awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal for his gallantry at Spilje Bay, Albania, 28th July 1944. He was a CSM with No.2 Commando at that time. He served in actions in Norway, Scaletta, Salerno, and on raids on the Yugoslav islands.
