In Commando Training this was usually carried out on Jenny Cliff on the East side of Plymouth Sound with Instructors from the Mountain Leaders based in Stonehouse Barracks or CTCRM.

Comments from Bernard McGaughey
I am asking if the people who run this very informative site if you can kindly give a mention of my brother who passed away on the 17th of march 2013 .He served with commando ordnance sqn back in the seventies .He was 55 years old and died peacefully in his sleep .His name was Andrew Mcgaughey .I do believe He served with 'Wurz' Phelps ,'Budgie' Burgess ,Charlie Mcmullen ,Geordie Anderson ,Phil Warden ,vince Philips .Dennis Tipley and many more of that era .
Your help would be much appreciated as he always spoke about the sqn and loved its comradre when he was in civvy street ,a conveyance of how he so greatly missed it. Once again many thanks.
