<description><![CDATA[Marine Reginald Saunders was reported missing presumed died with the rest of 'T' Company 40RM Commando when the ship they were on board, HMS Fidelity, was torpedoed. Son of William and Ethel Saunders; husband of Eileen Gunn.<br />

His great niece Shannon adds “Reg was one of eight children of William and Ethel Saunders. He married Eileen Gunn on the 2nd January 1938 at Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. He never had any children and sadly his wife died about a year after his death”.<br />
