Private Walter James Branch, RAMC kia 8/1/144 Walcheren.
Volunteered to be a Medical Orderly for a 48RM Commando patrol to Veere on the North East of the island of Walcheren, and was one of twenty fatal casualties when one of their Buffalo amphibious vehicles struck a submerged explosive device.
