Corporal Albert Williams, 'C' Troop, was wounded during operations at Kangaw, Burma. He died of his wounds whilst en route to Akyab onboard the hospital ship Wusueh and was buried at sea. Son of Frank and Mabel Williams; husband of Blanche Gertrude Joan Williams, of Taunton, Somerset; father of Rodney Williams aged 2 at the time.
