Fusilier Peter John Lane, No.9 Commando kia 3/2/1944 Italy.

Fusilier Lane was reported missing, later presumed killed in action, during operations at Monte Ornito and Monte Faito, Italy. He has no known grave. His name is on a Marble Roll of Honour located on a cairn on Monte Ornito put in place by fellow No.9 Commandos post war.
