14557172 Private Russell Edmunds, Gloucestershire Regt. attached to No.4 Commando 3 Troop, was wounded during operations at Normandy, France. Active commando service included France, Holland, and Germany. Also served in No.3 Commando 5 Troop after hostilities ended. Post war service in 1946 included Egypt and Greece. Member of the Commando Association.
