Bus Conductor from Witney, Oxfordshire. Enlisted Royal Marines PO/X102757. Joined 46RM Commando after its formation in July / August 1943. Served in 'H' Troop which was the Headquarters Troop. Wounded Beuzeville, Normandy. Subsequently evacuated to a hospital in the North of England. Member of the Commando Association.
