EX.1168 Mne. Leonard Cubitt served in the Royal Marine Commandos from August 1943 until 14 December 1945. The precise commando unit is not known but he did serve in Burma during that period which was the theatre of operations of 3 Special Service (Commando) Brigade.
In December 1945 he was based at the Holding Operational Commando.
