<br />
Neil adds &quot; My father was one of the 51st Highland captured at St Valery, ten days into the march into captivity he jumped the line and spent the next seven months making his way through France and Spain eventually getting home. On return he joined the Commandos. After the war my dad who was a regular soldier took his demob but rejoined within months going back into the R.A.S.C until 1958/59 his original service began in 1932. My father died on the 19th Dec 1968.&quot;]]></description>
