06.02.1943 Infantry Depot, Wrexham, posted 7th Bn Border Regiment.
12.06.1943 disembarked Egypt. Posted 151 (Durham) Brigade Support Coy.
19.07.1943 embarked for unknown destination - H Force.
17.10.1943 embarked for UK. Transferred 2nd Bn. Cheshire Regiment. Promoted Corporal.
25.12.1944 accidentally killed (motor accident)in Belgium.
