nb. There were two from No.1 Commando with the surname of Baker who were killed on the 31/1/45. They were L/Cpl Herbert Baker and Gnr. George Baker. As the man in this picture has a stripe on his right arm, I believe he will be L/Cpl Herbert Baker

nb. 'Yanto' Evans looks similar to a picture we have of a Sgt. Sydney Evans of 1 Cdo
