No 6 Commando officers and CSM George Phillips
Photo marked January 1945 T.H. Everitt. Courtesy of Les Phillips son of CSM George Phillips who is on the extreme right. George Phillips served in No 6 Commando becoming the Troop Sergeant Major of 6 troop. Post war in 1945, during the period of demobilization, he was moved to No 2 Commando Brigade HQ.

1. Lt. John Clapton MC (formerly 12 Cdo); 2. Capt. Andrew J.O. Gordon; 3. Lt. Peter Cruden (formerly 12 Cdo); 4. n/k; 5. Capt. John (Jack) Clovis; 6. Capt. Ronnie G.K. Hardey MC; 7. n/k; 8. Major David Henry John Griffiths Powell; 9. n/k; 10. Lt.Col. Charles Courtney Coade (former Adjutant,wounded on D Day, returned to No 6 Cdo and took over as OC, later replaced because of his injury by Lt Col. Tony Lewis); 11-12. n/k; 13. Capt Ryan Price; 14-19. n/k; 20. CSM George Phillips.

Hello all, the officer in the above photo, 6 in from the left is my Uncle Cpt Ronnie GK Hardey MC.
I am amazed to see this photograph, thank you all so much. I have never seen it before and it adds to my understanding of No6...Thank you

Ryan Price
Sorry if it's been said many times, but Ryan Price is the famous Racehorse trainer. My father, Albert Charles Green, I believe was in his unit.
