Update 3/3/12 by Pete R. "Ross Littlejohn (then a Major with 2SAS) and Cpl. Joseph Crowley (also 2SAS) were both captured during an operation in Italy and then executed at Bolzano, Italy, by SS Untersturmfuhrer Heinz Andergassen and SS Oberscharfuhrer Albert Storz. After a War Crimes trial where they were both convicted of this and other atrocities and murders, both were sentenced to death which was carried out on the 26th July 1946."

Identified many years later as different troop numbers by 2 Commandos, each of whom served..one said 4 troop as here another said 2 troop as per the photo of the adjacent annotations in the gallery
