Soldiers on Kagan's right are very likely Lance Corporal Zbigniew Wójcicki and Lance Sergeant Jan Wilkosz (both 1st Platoon of the Commando), also decorated with the award. General W?adys?aw Anders, the Commander of the 2nd Polish Corps, is also present [Source: IWM].
Post war Benjamin Kagan (Cohen) was a member of the original Commando Association.
