" In front Sergeant Major Van de Berg; by his left shoulder is Cpl. Kokhuis;
Counting from there to the right along the side of the road:
?; Cpl. Elshof; Cpl. Persoon; Cpl De Liefde (his son lives in Canada); Cpl. Steengracht van Moyland; ?; Cpl. Van Woerden (later to become the CO of the Dutch Commando Regiment); Hagelaars (killed in action in Holland); ?; Sgt. Van der Veer; Sgt. Kruit.
A bit to the back are: left Sgt. De Waard and to his right Sgt. Luitwieler."

In memory of Adrianus Josephus Hagelaars
No.10IA Commando 2 Dutch Troop
who was killed in action on October 5th 1944 aged 22yrs.
Remembered with honour at Erebegraafplaats Loenen, the Netherlands, Plot E, Grave 1260
