Photos of 5 Commando

In November 1945 Nos.1 and 5 Cdos. were in Hong Kong. The war was over and they were in the process of running down through demobilization. As numbers decreased No 1 Cdo and No 5 Cdo merged to form 1/5 Commando [there is a separate album for them]. 45RM Commando gradually took over their duties until 1/5 Cdo. was finally disbanded at the beginning of 1947.
** When viewing troop photos be aware that individuals on occasions moved troops.
