4343934 Lance Corporal George Dickinson, East Yorkshire Regiment and No.6 Commando was wounded in action in North Africa on the 6th January 1943.
Prior to joining the Commandos he had additionally been wounded on the 18th May 1940 serving with 2nd Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, as part of the B.E.F. in France.
