*Mark Richards believes his grandfather Pte Thomas Richards(DLI)is the man identified as Pte. Rudd. There were two with the surname of Rudd in No.4, Tony and Ronald.
Andrew Evans identifies his father and uncle Cpl.Owen Evans & Sgt John "Jack" Evans. Andrew states the photo was taken in Bexhill in 1944;

Dave Jones identifies his Grandfather adding" My Grandfather is William Arnold Jones from No.4 Commando. Unfortunately he passed away when i was two, however he was my inspiration to join the Royal Marines. We know he was a CSM, and according to his Commando Service Certificate was the RSM at some point, however I believe this was just before disbanding."
