The commando at position 110 is my late father Tommy Rogan, he was proud to be a member of No 4 Commando. He was severely injured by a mortar shell, after the D-day landing on 6th June and took no further part in WWII, having lost the use of his right arm. He was also veteran of Dunkirk.
He hailed from and spent all his life in Hartlepool. He passed away in 1988.
