No 7 is my Dad Pvte Bruce Berriff Imrie who was invalided out of the war when after the troop went ashore on D-Day, his partner got killed and he sustained a shell fragment in his shoulder. He was in the Metropolitan Police, and was an older solder (age 28 years old)and with a group from the Police, who joined later in the war, but had been in the Royal Horse Artillery in India aged 14 to 21. Before he came to the UK and joined the Police at age 21.
We have a copy of this picture.
I am not sure when his injury happened and am trying to access his war record to find out.
He died at 88 in 2004 of old age. Still strong and his mind was as active as ever.
