The man originally named as Pte F. Gooch has now been correctly identified by family and friends as Rfn. Frank Goode, RUR attached to No 2 Commando, later taken POW at St Nazaire

See this photo and detail about Pierth or Pirth who was only with No 2 for a few months. He later joined the terrorist group Irgun Zvai Leymi and was shot dead after attacking British soldiers in 1946. Henry Pirth

Naming the photos
Hi, I have just found this site. I am Ron McLeans Middle daughter and neither of the names given here are correct! That is not my dad or Henry Brown.
I do remember Helen Rawlinson from the Commando outings and parties we had. My dad had three daughters, Janet, myself and Ann. Sadly he passed away in 2008, 6 weeks after my mum died.
