This replaces lesser resolution identical copies sent in by (a)Candice Moore "My Grandad, Leslie Finnis, in the centre with the lads in Flushing"; and (b)Leslie 'Ken' Fosberry No 4 Cdo. who adds that they were on a captured ship in the dry dock at Flushing; Sharon Keagy identifies her uncle as "the very young man 3rd from the right back row - Lewis John Jones (joined at 18, 20yrs old here)"; Ann Oakes-Odger MBE identifies her father L/Cpl William Henry Oakes front row with moustache holding the wheel; Eileen Harris believes Tanky Byrne is front right wearing a beret slightly behind the man holding the buoyancy aid.
