'Doug' Twiddy, No.2 Commando 5 Troop

Doug Twiddy was in 5 troop No.2 Commando. Before and after the war Doug was in the film industry working as a Locations Manager and then Production Supervisor and Production Manager. He worked on many famous films such as David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia, and George Lucas's The Shining. Other directors and actors he worked with were Stanley Kulbrick, Oliver Reed, Sidney Poitier. There are several pictures of Doug in the 5 troop sub album of No.2 Cdo. Sadly Doug passed away on the 8th August 1990.
